Centro Nueva Creacion is the Home of the Goodlands. Centro inspires hope in North Philadelphia through after school and summer camp programs for elementary-aged students based in the Arts, Latino Cultures, Leadership, and Literacy.
The Goodlands was created in 2000 as a program of Centro Nueva Creacion. The Goodlands is about focusing on the positive in our community. The Goodlands provides opportunities for young people in Kindergarten through 5th grade to transform their neighborhood through photography.
Since its inception, the Goodlands Photography has trained over 500 children in photography. Young people have the power to make their positive vision of the Goodlands community become their future.
