CENTRO NUEVA CREACION

Centro Nueva Creación is a grassroots, non profit organization in North Philadelphia dedicated to empowering youth and their families to positively transform their community.  All of our programs are bilingual, low or no cost, and open to the public. 

MISSION

Centro Nueva Creación seeks to build hope in the Fairhill and West Kensington neighborhoods of North Philadelphia by creating opportunities for children to transform their community. Our mission is realized through after school and summer camp programs based in the Arts, Latino Cultures, Literacy, and Leadership

HISTORY

Centro Nueva Creación opened its doors in 1994, after an extensive door-to-door campaign asking residents what they want for their community.  The residents’ echoed each other’s concerns:  we want more positive activities for our youth, we want to bring families together, and we want to make the community safer, cleaner and more beautiful.  These hopes continue to be the driving force behind all of our programs.
