Deepest thanks to the US Forest Services for sponsoring a field trip for Centro students to the Silas Little Experimental Forest in the NJ Pinelands! Centro students were given the opportunity to escape the city for a day and explore science and nature hands-on in the NJ forest!
Students create earth mobiles as they learn about the planet, the environment, and how they can make a difference!
Centro has a unique after-school program for many reasons. One of those reasons is the incredible project-based learning (PBL) activities designed by Centro's dedicated and creative staff. Learn more about Centro's PBLs in our April blog post (A Better World - Learning through PBL).
Thanks to the amazing The Fulbright Program volunteers for helping Centro Nueva Creacion clear out the lot for our new community garden last month! And thanks to Kevin Spitta for sharing these photos!
